Cwm Taf Fechan Local Nature Reserve

19/07/2012
Recently an image of mine was chosen to feature in an article on the Local Nature Reserves in South Wales
Cwm Taf Fechan Local Nature Reserve
I was approached by a representative of the Valleys Regional Park, a non profit making organisation which seeks to promote and help regenerate the South Wales valleys through its natural environment and heritage. They planned to feature the Local Nature Reserve of Cwm Taf Fechan and had come across my images on the web and requested permission to use them.
In total the article appeared in four Welsh based magazines:

West Life
Vale Life
City Life
Valley Life

I was naturally chuffed and pleased to get a credit in the article and willingly granted the required permission. I have long been a big fan of the reserves in South Wales and have visited many of them as a keen photographer and hill walker. I have often been amazed at how few people are even aware of these wonderful reserves and what they have to offer.
I have put together a selection of images of Cwm Taf Fechan in the form of a slideshow to illustrate the beauty of the reserve that lies adjacent to the A465 between Cefn Coed y Cwmmer and Merthyr Tydfil.
